Cumberland augers are coiled in-house from high tensile steel wire, flattened prior to hardening for a more consistent, higher quality product. Flex-Flo models 300, HR, 350 and 500 undergo an exclusive manufacturing process for improved durability compared to a traditional auger.

The Flex-Flo control unit features a sealed sensor area to prevent moisture penetration and all electrical connections are safely housed in a plastic, water-resistant control box.

The Flex-Flo™ auger is driven by a 1/3 to 1-1/2 horsepower/standard 358 RPM totally-enclosed fan-cooled motor (other speeds are available for special applications). Whether direct or belt-driven, the drive system includes an easily-accessible maintenance port. A safety back-up switch automatically stops and restarts the motor if feed backs up in the line, indicated by a warning light. A thermal overload reset switch allows the system to be restarted once the motor has cooled.

Unloader systems are offered in single, twin, tandem and twin tandem models. The Flex-Flo auger can be direct or belt-driven by a 1/3 to 1-1/2 horsepower/standard 358 RPM totally-enclosed fan-cooled motor. Other speeds are available for special applications.
